Five horizontal stripes of light blue, pink, white, pink, and light blue. Created by American trans woman Monica Helms in 1999, first flown at a Pride march in Phoenix, Arizona in 2000. The light blue represents baby boys, the pink represents baby girls, and the white stripe is for those who are transitioning, intersex, or consider themselves non-binary.
The flag is intentionally symmetrical so it's correct no matter which direction it flies — symbolising 'finding correctness in one's life'. The light blue and pink represent traditional colours assigned to boys and girls respectively.
